I’m Elizabeth, the founder & owner of The Feminist Beauty Project and I identify with the following qualifiers (+ many others): white + fair skinned, 26 years, cis, female, femme, heterosexual, temporarily able-bodied, plus size, Western, US born, working-class to graduate school educated, chronically ill / depressed, English first language, raised Catholic, aquarius sun, virgo moon, cancer rising (she/her/hers pronouns). I am a practicing feminist and beauty enthusiast from Chicago, Illinois, United States of North America. Creator, educator, radical trouble maker. I love cruelty free beauty, feminist makeup & feminist makeupping, lipstick as solidarity, makeup as self-care and resistance, and intersectional approaches to understanding beauty and makeup use. I also love craft beer, diet coke, and iced lattes. Sound interesting? Drop me a line.

I live with chronic allergic contact dermatitis. My allergies/irritants are: methylisothiazolinone, lanolin (amerchol L-101/L101), ylang ylang oil, disperse orange-3
